11th September 2011
The 75th Anniversary photograph was taken at Icklesham Recreation Ground which included past and present members from every decade of the Club’s history.
17th December 2011
The Christmas Raffle in the Queen’s Head, Icklesham raised the excellent sum of £375 with all proceeds going to the charity fund raising.
3rd April 2012
The Club was officially founded at a meeting on the 3rd April 1937 at Thompson’s Tea Rooms in Rye. It is planned to mark this day.
16th June 2012
Afternoon football match(es) at Icklesham Recreation Ground and evening buffet in the Memorial Hall with guest speakers George Cooke MBE who played 174 games in goal for the Club between 1961 and 1970 and who later became a Director of Middlesbrough Football Club and Steve Beale, the former first team captain, who made nearly 500 appearances between 1973 and 2009.
The afternoon events will include a football match against Rye Old Scholars Association which will commemorate the Club’s very first match with Rye Old Grammarians which took place on the 11th September 1937.

Golf Event - 75 holes in a day a charity fund raiser. (date to be confirmed)

Formal Dinner to be held at The Lodge, Winchelsea which will bring year of celebration to a conclusion.
Other Details
A target has been set to raise the sum of £7500 for various charities over the course of the seventy-fifth year. The charities include St. Michaels Hospice, the Motor Neurone Disease Association, Breast Cancer Breakthrough, the Stroke Association, Parkinson‘s UK, the Alzheimer‘s Society, the Neuro Foundation and Access Sport.
A 75th Anniversary Brochure is now available to purchase. The 48 page booklet includes a history of the Club, appearance records, photographs, details of the 75th anniversary celebrations as well as many other items of interest and costs only £1 with all proceeds going to the charity fund raising.
